The Foundation

In honour of Alessandra Cordero di Montezemolo, an esteemed psychotherapist who passed away prematurely in June 2023, a foundation has been established to support cancer research and provide assistance for those who are not self-sufficient.

This philanthropic initiative is aimed at supporting cancer research and providing assistance to persons who are not self-sufficient, alleviating pain and suffering, especially for persons in financial difficulty. It is open to donations from anyone who wishes to support its activities. The Foundation, which operates mainly in Italy and Switzerland, was established at the request of Mariella Cordero di Montezemolo, Alessandra's mother.

Your support is essential to advance research and help those who are economically disadvantaged and not self-sufficient.

Some data

In Italy, approximately 6 out of 10 patients are alive 5 years after being diagnosed with cancer, and in some cases they can now be considered cured.

Prevention is fundamental. 40% of cancer cases could be avoided by eliminating risk factors such as smoking, alcohol, obesity and a sedentary lifestyle.

In Italy, every day some 1,000 people are diagnosed with a malignant tumour.
